The vantage is a fantastic car. Lots of fun and generally well priced compared to competition meaning they are overvalued when new but highly undervalued once they are at BCV. Since the BCV on the vantage 2019+ is at 70K, it means that the further away from the number newer cars up to 2023 are, the more downside risk they pose. Buying a new 2021+ in the median price of $100,000 would be the max for a safe and fun experience without massive losses. Pre 2021 cars should be purchased between 70 and 90K to be hacks, rather than retail purchases. Getting cars with full exterior carbon, premium wheels and rare specification will favor you when reselling the car.

The right car, with fair options at the wrong time. This car is too new to get at the right deal that will make driving it painless and cost free. Its still heavily depreciating based on the mileage being low, year too new and car still dropping. While today a deal in the upper 120s may sound decent, it will not save this car from more than a 10% drop in the next 12 months alone, and with the added mileage and even larger drop will take it sub 100s. If the intention is to limit the loss, a slightly older 2021 with more options at 110K max will be the most balanced approach to ensuring your wallet doesn't cry when you sell the car.
