New Report Reveals Ferrari Profit & Margin
Here's what that means for car hackers
Ferrari recently released data showing that the average sale price for a new Ferrari has increased to $399,000 in 2023, up from $285,000 in 2020.
In that same timeframe, their operating margins have improves to 26.84% from 19.28%.
For 2025, Ferrari's target operating margin for new vehicles is 30%, and they are well on track to reaching that figure.
This is excellent news for anyone interested in hacking a Ferrari in 2025 because of the "stack" that PJ mentions in the course.
If the price for a new Ferrari goes up, the price for the older model is less likely to drop.
For example, the Ferrari 296 base MSRP is $343,000.
This is up from $280,000 for the F8 and $262,000 for the 488.
Because the new Ferrari project is objectively bad, our view is that the market for old cars will creep up and be seen as a better value and better experience than the new cars, while the new models will crash harder than usual.
In short: the older cars are better products that are less expensive to acquire and Ferrari aren't making any more of them.
We see a ton of opportunity in the markets for the F430, 458, 488, F12, 812, and more.
