The 911 Market for new models is very delicate. You have to pick the right car, the right options, the right color, and the right trim. Any given mistaken could lead from an appreciating work of art to a total loss of capital. Porsche dealers are often taking advantage of the automotive environment to simply make every car they have seem to be a “hard to get” vehicle. While GT cars and special models can command significant 6 figure premium, the majority of cars on the ground need to be bought either at discount or the right specifications need to be picked.

The GTS isn't really special unless combined with a rare PTS color and manual transmission. In its rarest form as a Targa 4GTS it still doesn’t hold value unless special color and manual transmission. This particular car is red ( unpopular ), has no ceramic brakes, no manual transmission, and is demanding a premium despite being a boring average car. A GTS like this can be bought from a multitude of dealers across the US with zero markup when new, it is only being offered as a markup car because the dealer is in Beverly Hills. The worst car deals are often in CA and NY for new cars. For $215,000, I highly recommend picking up a 2024 Targa 4GTS PDK, used with less than 1K miles and enjoy that for free for a year, rather than lose $40K driving this undesirable car.
