The 991 GT3 and GT3RS market are very stable and have been for the last 36 months. It is also getting harder to find manual variations with low miles, making low mileage unit rise heavily. Driven 5 digit cars are still priced well and rare colors always bring a premium with both the GT3, RS and Touring models. Our recommendations for long term value preservations will be Touring manual models in good colors in the high 200s. You are thinking correctly with the right color, transmission, miles and more. That makes this car drivable to add 8K miles in the next 2 years and could potentially even sell for over 200K if you are very patient then. The reasoning of the 20K difference between 185 and 205K for its future value is simply because of the seats. I love comfort seats, they are easy to use and awesome to drive, but the majority 9/10 buyers want bucket seats with GT model cars and so it makes for a very scarce pool of buyers that will pay up for a car like this unless they, like you, want to drive it. Its a good thing to have the miles it has to be driven and so I would buy this car today if I could get it at 200K and wanted a GT3, especially cause it would then be a hack around the margin of error and I think a safe enough choice for a patient reseller.
