The TRX market has been on a high decline over the past 24 months and is expected to keep going. While the raptor market seems to not be as fragile to miles, the TRX market has shown otherwise. So far with wide range of pricing from the 100s all the way down to the 60s. Since pricing is all over the board, and its a declining market and volume is increasing at a rate of 1.3 times faster than other similar cars, its a dangerous time to be buying a TRX if preserving the investment made matters. If you are going to save yourself from market fluctuation, at the very least invest in an exciting and rare color.

Good spec and good miles at 17K miles to add 8k miles since you intend to drive it. Price is also fair for what it is to begin with. Dealer will be harder to negotiate with because it’s a franchise, and you have to make sure there is no hidden heavy fees. If you can buy this truck in the high $70s, your exposure over 12 to 16 months with 8k more miles will be very limited and you'll still be within the 10% margin of error between wholesale and retail and could actually get away with even lower losses. While I prefer the raptor for stronger resale values, this is great starting point for a newer TRX.
