BMW X3 M
The X3M market is not a hackable market. The price point is same as the X5M which is much more popular and more desirable. The X3M while competitive on the primary new market on pricing, is just terrible on secondary markets with large drops down to significantly under BCV values. You can expect major drops around 30K, 45K and 60K mileage ratios. BCV on these cars is between 25k and 40k, which means that you have to wait a full 5 to 6 years prior to hacking. So $35K range cars with low miles will be the only way to limit your loss.

The X3M is a terrible buy, a comparable car would be a used Macan GTS or Turbo if you desire a smaller SUV. The X5M or X6M will be the bette opportunity at BMW due to the higher % depreciated value faster. The range of purchase should be 40K at best, so cars in 60Ks are at risk of dropping over 30% per year. The interior color also makes this less desirable to many people, so will be harder to resale later.
