perpetual analysis:

Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Gen 1 Wraith market is very exciting at 30 cents on the dollar and makes for some excellent entry level exotics at first glance. The market data is hard to read as condition plays a huge part in the disparity in prices online. Some cars with similar miles are listed at 20 to 30K more while others at bottom numbers. This is attributed to options and condition of car. Cars with driver assist 3, starlight and full repaired are often closer to 145K and cars without the right options or in needs of repairs under 130K line. You will spend 15 to 25K on average on repairs with these cars due to age and common issues. Oil pan leaks, shock and strut issues as well as door mechanisms are often going bad in first 5 years and will be reflected on cars that are very cheap on market. A good PPI will determine the cars value more than any pictures or listings.

This car specifically suffers from miles nearing 30K, a bad dealer selling it and many signs in pictures alone that condition was neglected over the years. While it sports the right options, it screams that the repairs will most likely bring the final price closer to 145k to 150K for a car that isn't that great if you ask me. The color combination is weak because of the weird interior configurations of white, black and red. If you PPI and find no faults, it would be a steal at 125K but unfortunately based on dealer reputation it is unlikely especially with these miles. If intending to drive 5k miles. Simply buy a car with 15K miles and sell it between 20 and 22K.
